Assorted Bike Rides Benefit Land Preservation Trust

New London — A day-long fundraiser for Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust next month will feature four bicycle rides of varying lengths.

The third annual Kearsarge Klassic Bike Randonnee on Sept. 6 includes 30-, 65-, 86- and 100-mile routes.

The rides, which begin and end at the New London Historical Society, traverse back roads through many of the 12 towns that Ausbon Sargent serves: Andover, Bradford, Danbury, Grantham, Goshen, Newbury, New London, Springfield, Sunapee, Sutton, Wilmot and Warner.

The event is a collaboration with the New Hampshire Cycling Club.

Participants receive snacks at rest stops; breakfast and lunch; and dinner, which includes a free beer. The entrance fee is $80. Online registration will be open until Sept. 4.
