Hanover Boys Soccer Game Moved To Exeter
Hanover — Because of a scheduling conflict at Southern New Hampshire University, the Hanover High boys soccer team’s NHIAA Division I championship game tonight has been moved to Exeter High’s Bill Ball Stadium.
The move became necessary after SNHU’s women’s soccer team clinched a bid to host the Northeast-10 Conference championship game by virtue of a 1-0 semifinal win over St. Rose on Friday. As third seed, the Penmen earned the right to host eighth-seeded Adelphi today at 1 p.m. at Larkin Field, forcing the NHIAA to revise its schedule.
All four NHIAA boys soccer championships will be staged at Bill Ball, with No. 3 Hanover meeting No. 4 Manchester Central in the nightcap at a scheduled time of 6:45 p.m. The Marauders advanced to the finals with a 1-0 win over No. 2 Londonderry at SNHU on Thursday night just before the Little Green handed No. 1 Bedford its first loss of the year, also by a 1-0 score.
Hanover and Central met once in the regular season, with the Marauders taking a 1-0 win in Manchester on Aug. 28.
