Letter: Terri Dudley Signs Off, With Thanks

Thank you to staff writer Ben Conarck for the May 24 article (“Dudley Steps Away From Mic”) regarding my retirement from WTSL and its caring staff.

Thanks to everyone who sent me beautiful flowers, cards, emails and telephone calls as the result of the story. I am grateful for, and humbled by, the number of friends who appeared at the radio station on the day of my retirement. Mayor Georgia Tuttle took the time to send a special note. The $1,000 scholarship set up by Great Eastern Radio in my name is one of the best gifts I have ever received. A special thank you to Mascoma Savings Bank and Wilson Tire Co. for sponsoring first Your Turn and later Sunday Mornings with Terri Dudley from day one of the programs. Powerhouse Hearing Center came on board in 2011.

The Upper Valley is the best place on Earth to live. You always feel welcome here regardless of your lot in life, and friendships last for a lifetime. People ask what my future holds. There is a simple answer: The care of my devoted husband for the rest of our lives.
