Snowy the Bear in Lebanon

Dan Billin, right, of Lebanon, stops his shoveling to talk to Joshua Grendler, 17, about the snow bear that Billin and his family built in front of their Mascoma Street home on Friday. It has been a tradition for more than a decade for the Billin family to build giant snow sculptures in their yard, and Billin said he enjoys seeing people pull over to get pictures with the bear. “I think seeing the reaction from people after they see the bear has been even more fun than making it,” he said.
