Dorothy Marie Dube

Lebanon, N.H. — Dorothy Marie Dube; 81 Passed away April 24, 2014 at her home in Lebanon. She was born June 12, 1932, in Berlin, N.H. to Andrew Peters and Yvonne Laroche.

Dorothy went to St. Joseph School and graduated from Notre Dame high School in 1951. Growing up in Berlin she enjoyed working as a car hop waitress and towel girl for the Brown Paper Company. She was a life time member of The Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW in White River Junction, Vt. She also loved ice skating.

Dorothy and Jean-Paul G. Dube were married on June 19, 1954 in Berlin. Later moving to Lebanon to raise their family. She was a loving wife and mother. After raising her family she went to work at King’s Department Store and later Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in housekeeping from which she retired.

Her family includes four daughters, Margaret Collins of Grafton, N.H., Alice Reif of Godfrey, Ill., Pauline Emerson of Orange, N.H., and Laura Dussault of Plainfield, N.H.; three sons, Leo Dube of Lebanon, Mark Dube of Enfield, N.H., and Robert Dube of Newport, N.H.; two sisters, Jeannine Buteau of Berlin and Lucille Marchand of Merrimack; seventeen grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Monday, April 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. Raymond Vaillancourt, M.S. officiating. Committal prayers will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lebanon.
