Jeannie Taylor Walker

Lebanon, N.H. — Jeannie (Taylor) Walker passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at DHMC with her family at her side. She was born Jan. 5, 1948, in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Albert C. and Marion (Bagster) Taylor. The family moved to New Hampshire in 1961 when her father was transferred to Hanover.

Jeannie graduated from Lebanon High School where she met her beloved husband David. David and Jeannie were married on Oct. 12, 1968.

Jeannie enjoyed cooking, going to camp at Clark Pond in Canaan and being with her family. She loved going to the ocean to Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine and lobster cookouts at her parents’ house in Gorham, Maine. She also enjoyed great conversations — whether casual, or in a debating fashion, she always wanted to prove her point and did!

Jeannie is predeceased by her father in 2002 and a sister Janet in 1962. She is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Heather Rowe; son, Joshua of Lebanon; her mother, Marion; a sister, Julie and her husband, Steve; a brother, James of Gorham; and a sister, Jayne and her husband, Tom of Sebago, Maine.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 5th at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Hanover Street, Lebanon from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
