Elaine Roberta (Bushee) Dionne

Lebanon, N.H. — Elaine Roberta (Bushee) Dionne, on Monday, March 3, 2014, moved on to be with her husband of 66 years, Armand J. Dionne for the rest of eternity.

Born July 26, 1926, to Minnie (Follansbee) Bushee and Augustus L. Bushee, Sr. in Lebanon where she graduated from high school and worked in the laundry. She followed and supported Armand’s career while at various locations in New England and at times worked as a secretary, lunch lady, machinist, and nursing home attendant.

Born and raised in the Upper Valley Elaine and Armand returned to the Upper Valley to retire. They delivered Meals-On-Wheels between winters in Florida and two cross-country trips around the United States in an RV. She enjoyed watching sports, crocheting, and critters of all kinds, but her greatest joy was raising a family of four children.

Predeceased by her eldest daughter, Ann Carrier, she is survived by daughter, Jean Logan and husband, Glenn of Windham, Maine; son, James Dionne and wife, Denise of Danville, N.H., as well as son, Michael Dionne and wife, Denise of Concord, N.H. Family and friends are invited to Saint Anthony’s Church in White River Junction on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. to celebrate a Mass of Christian burial. Committal prayers will be announced in the spring. Memorial donations can be made to Upper Valley Senior Center, 10 Campbell Street, Lebanon, NH 03766.
