Wedding: Cutting — Saler
Norwich — Allison June Cutting and Nathan Morton Saler were married on July 27, 2013.
The outdoor ceremony took place on the lawn of the Ferry Watch Inn in Grand Isle, Vt., and was presided over by Justice of the Peace Ray Allen.
The bride was escorted by her father. Her matron of honor was Julia Cutting. Bridesmaids were Shauni Goodwin and Rachael Saler. Isabella Tucker was the flower girl.
Peter Sheldon was the best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Cutting and Tucker Sargent.
A reception followed at the inn, with guests dining and dancing in a renovated historic barn.
The bride is the daughter of Jill and Glenn Cutting, of White River Junction. She graduated from Hartford High School in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and French language studies at Stonehill College in Easton, Mass. She received a master’s degree in elementary education from the College of New Jersey in 2013 and teaches first grade at Hsinchu International School in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
The bridegroom is the son of Darlene and Tom Saler, of Norwich. He graduated from Hanover High School in 2004 and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and history from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., in 2008. He received a master’s degree in secondary education from the College of New Jersey in 2013 and teaches social studies to students in grades 7-12 at Hsinchu International School.
The couple honeymooned in the Maldives. They live in Taiwan.
