Viola Marie Caswell

West Lebanon, N.H. — Viola Marie Caswell, 83, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.

Vi was born March 29, 1931 in Windsor, Vt., the daughter of Walter and Alice (Wentworth) Vivian.

She attended Windsor High School and worked for many years at One Clean Place. Vi enjoyed the company of her family and friends, spending time with her cat Buffy, playing dealer choice poker, card and board games, animal shows, casinos, crafts, sewing, chalking plaster pieces, fishing, flowers and gardening. But some of her most memorable times were spent at camp.

She is predeceased by a son, Ralph E. Caswell; three brothers, Walter Vivian, Ernie Vivian, William Vivian; grandchildren, Cheryl Caswell, Stefvin Caswell and Benson Caswell.

She is survived by two sons, James W. Caswell of Milton, Vt., John S. Caswell of Randolph, Vt.; three daughters, Elizabeth A. Caswell of White River Junction, Christine M. Rice of Williston, Vt. and Katherine E. Caswell of West Lebanon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Vivian of Texas; and several nieces and nephews
