Letter: Too Casual for the Occasion

To the Editor:

U.S. Rep. Peter Welch, D-Vt., honors no one in the photograph accompanying your Nov. 4 front-page story headlined “Honoring Their Sacrifice” by walking through an honor guard with his hands in his pockets, especially at an event where he was invited to pay tribute to those who served our country with honor and distinction. Get with it, congressman. Your constituents deserve better, and so do our veterans, as you so noted.
