Letter: Hit Assad Where It Hurts
Hit Assad Where It Hurts
To the Editor:
President Obama faces the difficult decision of where to bomb Syria. If he hits the rebels, he gets a thank you note from Syrian President Bashar Assad. If he hits those forces still loyal to Assad, the Syrian president will never even notice.
The way to convince Assad to change his ways is simple. His wife is a nice English girl with a taste for clothes and jewelry that come from Europe. Just cancel her credit cards. There will be no peace in the Assad home at breakfast or lunch. By dinner time, Assad will be sending out for a pizza.
Obama should learn to attack Assad where he is most vulnerable — his loving wife.
