Ernest J Guerin

Enfield, N.H. — Ernest J Guerin, 78, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at home surrounded by family. He was born Aug. 14, 1935 in Chateaugay, N.Y., A son of Joseph and Mary (Lawrence) Guerin.

Ernest and his beloved wife Marie LaBombard Guerin of fifty-five years were married January 6, 1958. Together they raised three children, Michael Guerin and wife Jody of Woodstock, Vt., Wendy Stearns and husband Denzil of Lyme, N.H., Darryl Guerin and wife Dawn of Enfield.

Ernest was employed by Split Ballbearing / Timken for 23 years before retiring at the age of 62. In his retirement he enjoyed and kept busy baby sitting and taking care of his granddaughter Amanda. Ernie also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and being with his family at Crescent Campground where he met a lot of wonderful close friends.

Ernest is predeceased by sisters Jennie Chamberlain and Lena Judd, and brothers Harry and Kenneth (Tommy) Guerin.

Ernest is survived by brothers Fred Guerin of Lempster, N.H., Andy Guerin of Plainfield, N.H., Walter Guerin of Lebanon, N.H., Albert Guerin of Springfield, Vt. and Gerald Guerin of Ocala, Fla; sisters Bernice Parker of Lebanon, and Mamie Nadeau of Ocala, Fla.; six grandchildren Jeremy Guerin, Candace Lavoie, Crystal Batten, Cassandra Levakis, Jackie Filiault and Amanda (Papa’s honey bunch) Guerin; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral service following at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon.
