Wedding: Ford — Burley

Enfield — Nicole Elizabeth Ford and Richard Anthony Burley were married on Aug. 3, 2013.

The wedding took place at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College and was presided over by the Rev. Peter Foss and the Rev. Rob Grabill.

The bride was given away in marriage by her father.

The matron of honor was Katie Kobylenski and her bridesmaid was Katie Ford. The best woman was Frances Beatty.

A reception was held at the Enfield Shaker Museum, where guests celebrated with the bride and bridegroom with dinner and dancing.

The bride is the daughter of Debra Johnson Ford, of Enfield, and Keith Ford, of Enfield. She graduated from Kimball Union Academy in 2003 and received a bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College in 2007. She received her master’s degree in medieval studies from the University of York, England, in 2008. She is pursuing a doctorate in art history at Boston University and is employed as a financial manager in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Boston University.

The bridegroom is the son of Gillian and Anthony Burley, of Toronto, Canada. He graduated from Markham District High School in 2002 and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto in 2007. He received his master’s degree in medieval studies from the University of York, England, in 2008. He is pursuing a doctorate in English at Boston College, where he also teaches.

The couple honeymooned on Cape Cod. They make their home in Brighton, Mass.
