Anthony A. Aldrich, Sr.

Enfield, N.H. — Anthony A. Aldrich, Sr., 59, passed away suddenly after a long illness on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. Anthony lived his whole life in Enfield. He married Deborah Mossey on Sept. 27, 1975. He served 43 years as a member of the Enfield Fire Department, making it to the Rank of Lieutenant also a member of the Enfield Mascoma Lions Club for 10 plus years. He enjoyed watching wrestling and sports on television. He got the most pleasure out of life, talking and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Aldrich; son, Anthony Aldrich II and wife, Sarah; three grandchildren, Meghan, Kamdyn and Jayce; a sister, Joyce Mulligan; a brother, Wayne Aldrich and his wife, Joan; a sister, Tobie Stahle and her husband, Tim; a brother, Jim Aldrich; a brother, Bill Aldrich and his wife, Linda; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many in-laws. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sonya Aldrich in 1981, mother, Ruth Tallman in 1988 and father, Gordon Aldrich in 1992.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at the Lutheran Church on Main St. in Enfield on Monday, Jan. 13 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
