Beulah M. Nadeau

Canaan, N.H. — Beulah M. Nadeau, 84, passed away Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. She was born in Lakeport, N.H. on Aug. 27, 1929, to the late Elwood & Esther (Keyser) Colburn. Beulah married Roland A. Nadeau on Nov. 15, 1947, in Laconia, N.H. Following graduation she worked as a spinner for area woolen mills. She later was employed by Carter Churchill, Luminescent’s and Profile Ski sewing. She enjoyed ceramics, canning and knitting and crochetings. As a young lady she enjoyed roller-skating and dancing.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Roland Nadeau of Canaan; three sons, Michael Nadeau and his wife, Donna of Enfield, N.H., Peter Nadeau and his wife, Pamela of West Canaan, N.H. and Danny Nadeau and his partner, Sharon Griffin of Sanbornton, N.H.; four grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren; as well as several brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leonard Colburn and Ernest Mitchell.

There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at the Countryside Cemetery on Kluge Road in Enfield on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at 11 a.m. The Rev.
