Philip R. Bedard
Berlin, N.H. — Philip R. Bedard, 90, of Berlin, died on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Berlin on March 6, 1924, the son of Horace J. and Olivette Bedard.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and was involved with the Civilian Conservation Corps. Philip had been employed by Brown Co. and James River Corp. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, the VFW Post #2520, the F.O.E. and of Dupont-Holmes Post #82 American Legion.
Family includes daughters, Jacqueline Bergeron and husband, Walter of Cannan, Diane Vigue and husband, Joseph of Berlin and Ellen Labrecque and husband, Paul of Berlin; sons, Philip E. Bedard and Warren Bedard of Berlin; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara Bedard, a brother Raymond Bedard and a daughter-in-law Lorraine Bedard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Anne Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday May 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
