Bridgewater, Vt. — Raymond A. Robie, Jr. lost his two year battle with cancer at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016. He was a fighter right to the end. Ray was born in Franklin, N.H. on Jan. 8, 1961, the son of the late Raymond A. Robie and Patricia A. Robie. Ray worked heavy construction for over 30 years and was employed by several companies including Pike Inc., Park Construction, L.K. Ladd, & Coleman Co. His expertise operating skills as an excavator earned him great praise in the heavy equipment industry. Ray loved the outdoors, loved cooking and barbecuing and spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed all Boston sports teams and enjoyed …
