Killington Golf Tournament Will Benefit Humane Society

Killington, Vt. — A golf tournament at Green Mountain National Golf Course in Killington this summer will benefit Vermont Volunteer Services for Animals Humane Society. The Bridgewater-based nonprofit promotes animal welfare and protection in the state.

The event, set for June 14, will also feature a putting contest, silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Registration starts at noon, followed by a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. The format is a “captain and crew” scramble, with up to five members on a team.

The cost, $100 per player, includes a cart, green fees, gifts, goody bags, lunch on the course, prizes and dinner after the tournament at Summit Lodge in Killington. Hole sponsorships are $100.
