Bethel, Vt. — Della D. Allen, 101, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Menig Extended Care Facility in Randolph. She was born April 26, 1913, in W. Charleston, Vt. the daughter of Eugene and Nellie (Dearborn) Dwire. Della attended W. Charleston schools. She was married to J. Wendell “Gramp” Allen July 4, 1931 in E. Randolph. Della had worked at Fyles & Rice Plywood, G.W. Plastics, Ethan Allen, was a sales representative for Avon Products and had also worked for many years on the family farm on the Bethel Randolph Road. She enjoyed dancing, making place-mats and canning vegetables. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her memberships included the Randolph …
