Nashua Motorcyclist Is Killed In Crash on Interstate 293
Manchester — A 26-year-old Nashua man is dead following a motorcycle crash on an Interstate 293 off ramp in Manchester, New Hampshire State Police said yesterday.
Police said Alan Monas lost control of the 1978 Suzuki GS750 motorcycle he was riding at about 9:15 a.m. yesterday on the northbound Exit 4 off ramp and crashed.
Monas was taken to Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said that, just before the crash, Monas had been given a speeding ticket on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Merrimack for traveling 86 mph.
There were no other vehicles involved in the I-293 accident, police said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
