Police Investigate Royalton Rite Aid Robbery
Royalton — Vermont State Police are investigating a robbery at the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Royalton on Tuesday afternoon in which a man gave a clerk a note saying that he was armed.
Around 12:40 p.m., a white male in his mid 20s, wearing a blue baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark plaid coat, jeans and brown boots walked into the pharmacy on Route 107, a stone’s throw from the Vermont State Police barracks, and handed a clerk a note that said he was armed and demanded prescription medication, police said.
Police said the robber was walking along Route 107 prior to the robbery and was seen exiting a dark colored sedan at a nearby convenience store just prior to the robbery, police said.
