North Haverhill, N.H. — Edithmary Elliott, 71, of Lime Kiln Road, died on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Hartford, Conn., July 25, 1941, the daughter of John C. and Beryl R. (Huntley) Ryan.
Edithmary married Lawrence J. Elliott on March 17, 1971. She loved gardening, motorcycle riding, ceramics, sewing, and making dolls. Edithmary loved spending time with her family, for birthdays, holidays, and family celebrations.
She was predeceased by her son, Robert John Elliott, Sr. on Nov. 13, 2012; a daughter, Brenda Lee Miller; and two brothers, Joseph Ryan and John Ryan.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Lawrence J. Elliott, Sr.; her children, Mary Elizabeth Anderson and husband, Paul W. of Piermont, N.H., Faith Patience Nelson of East Ryegate, Vt., James Wesley Elliott, II of North Haverhill, and Lawrence J. “Skip” Elliott, Jr. and wife, Cori of Bath, N.H.; a daughter in law, Florence Donna Elliott of North Haverhill; extended family, Melanie Ouellette and husband, William of Plainville, Conn., Robert Harrison and wife, Annette of Benton, Ky., and James Nelson of East Ryegate; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Ryan of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Thomas Ryan of Lancaster, N.H., and William Ryan of Cromwell, Conn.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, 11 a.m., at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, N.H. with Father William Watts officiating. Burial will be on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 12 noon at the East Haverhill Cemetery.
