Carol J. Thibodeau
White River Jct., Vt. — Carol J. Thibodeau, 77, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
She was born March 8, 1935, in Jeffersonville, Vt. a daughter of Warren and Lizzie (Chamberlain) Cameron. Carol grew up in central Vermont and graduated from high school in Stowe, Vt. She was married to Clinton Thibodeau Nov. 22, 1953, in Columbus, Ga. while he was serving at Ft. Benning with the US Army. They raised their family in White River Jct. where they spent most of their married lives. In 1988, they moved to Sharon and then to Chelsea in 2004. Carol has resided at Hanover Terrace Healthcare for the past three years.
Mrs. Thibodeau worked for many years at College Cleaners in Hanover until her retirement. After retiring she worked for a time at TJ Maxx in West Lebanon.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clint, in 2006 as well as her brother, Theron Cameron.
Carol leaves her children, Clinton Thibodeau Jr. of Northfield, Vt., Brenda Zaukar of Lebanon, N.H. and Darlene Poulton and her husband, Greg of Grantham, N.H.; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Sinka Zaukar, Sehan Poulton and Bryrony Henault; great-grandchildren Aubrie, Audrey and Lauren; brothers, Keith Cameron and Merwin Cameron both of Enfield; sisters, Patricia Churchill of White River Jct. and Mayleen Cameron of Chester, Mass.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., Vt. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a memorial service following at 3 p.m.
