Keeping the River Clean

Dale Clough of West Hartford, Vt., walks along Old River Road in Hartford  on Aug. 9, 2013. Clough had just been walking in the White River picking up trash and the occasional unique rock. Clough said he is retired and he and his son had helped in the recovery of the river after Tropical Storm Irene. Since then he said he has fallen in love with the river and picks up trash there often. Clough has been picking trash from Hartford all the way to Stockbridge.
