APD Names New Chief Medical Officer
Lebanon — Randy Lea, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, has been appointed chief medical officer at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital.
Lea, of Plainfield, has 26 years of experience as an orthopedic surgeon, has served in medical director positions, and has held several positions at private practices and medical centers in Louisiana, including the Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University in New Orleans and completed his residency at Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics. Last spring, he earned a master’s degree in public health at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
Lea has served as the president of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. He has also participated in medical mission projects in the Ukraine, Mexico, Kenya, Belize and the Dominican Republic.
