Annual Mother’s Day Bazaar At Valley Regional Hospital

Claremont — The Ladies Union Aid Society, the organization that established the hospital in Claremont in 1893, will hold its annual Mother’s Day Bazaar on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the main lobby of Valley Regional Hospital. The sale features flowering plants, hanging baskets and greenery as well as baked goods and foods prepared and donated by LUAS members. It will also include a raffle for cash prizes and gift cards donated by several local businesses. Raffle tickets are available at the hospital and from LUAS members.

Proceeds from this year’s bazaar will go toward the purchase of 3D Tomosynthesis breast imaging technology for Valley Regional’s Medical Imaging Department. The technology significantly improves early breast cancer detection. — Compiled by Aimee Caruso
