Exit 17 I-89 Southbound Ramp to Be Closed

Lebanon — The Exit 17 southbound exit ramp on Interstate 89 will be closed for most of tomorrow morning due to a bridge replacement project.

From 2 a.m. to 11 a.m., motorists who would ordinarily use the ramp to access Route 4 will have to continue south to Exit 16, reverse direction, then use the Exist 17 northbound off ramp, according to a news release from New Hampshire Department of Transportation project administrator Peter Kehoe.

The ramp, which is being closed during a concrete bridge deck placement to help minimize vibrations, is part of a 4-mile road and bridge rehabilitation project between Lebanon and Enfield. The project is expected to be completed this fall.
