Dentists to Offer Free Care for Adults
White River Junction — Upper Valley dentists will provide free services to adults next month as part of Free Dental Care Day.
On May 4, local dentists will offer preventive and restorative care for adults without access to regular dental care.
Patients will be screened in advance by Red Logan Dental Clinic in White River Junction.
The clinic helps low-income patients and those without dental insurance who live within a 25-mile radius of the site.
The event, sponsored by local dentists, Upper Valley Oral Health Coalition, and Red Logan, is part of a statewide effort to help meet adults’ dental needs. Last year, 264 dentists, including 22 from New Hampshire, donated about $350,000 in free care to 560 patients.
“While many of us enjoy helping children through the annual Give Kids a Smile event each year, the oral health of adults is equally important,” dentist Toby Kravitz said in a recent news release. “Free Dental Care Day gives us the opportunity to help patients and address their oral healthcare needs.”
