West Lebanon — Two Upper Valley residents were recently recognized for their length of employment with United Way.

During a recent employee gathering, the women were awarded a plaque marking their years of service.

“Both Barbara and Dana represent both United Way and the Upper Valley in an exceptional way,” Patrick Tufts, president and CEO of Granite United Way, said in a news release. “The contributions they make have improved the lives of countless individuals throughout this region.”

Granite United Way supports programs in the areas of education, income and health. Its service area includes Merrimack County, the Manchester area, the North Country, the Lakes Region in New Hampshire, the Upper Valley regions of New Hampshire and Vermont, and Windsor County.
