Naomi R. Johnson, of North Springfield, Vt., has been promoted to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer at Dufresne Group Consulting Engineers in Windsor. Johnson joined the firm shortly after its inception in 1999. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont in civil engineering and an environmental engineering master’s degree from Montana State University. Johnson has a broad range of engineering experience including design of spillways, water and wastewater treatment systems, subdivision design, Act 250 permitting and stormwater systems design and permitting.

Stephanie Cass, of Claremont, has been designated a certified insurance service representative after she successfully completed five one-day courses covering all areas of insurance risks and exposures, followed by extensive examinations. Cass is a customer service representative with The Insurance Center in Claremont. The Certified Insurance Service Representative program, which is available to insurance professionals in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, is distinguished from other programs of its kind by an annual continuing education requirement designed to ensure that designees stay current on the important policy changes and trends within the industry. The designation is awarded by the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives, a not-for-profit organization and member of The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. There are more than 70,000 participants in the program. More than 27,000 individuals hold the CISR designation.
