Letter: Obvious Problem on Route 4

To the Editor:

With all of the recent crashes on Route 4 between Hartford and Woodstock, one has to wonder if the investigators happened to have noticed that in many places the center yellow lines are almost nonexistent, forcing drivers to guess where to drive on this already narrow and winding road. How many more lives will be lost before this main thoroughfare gets a fresh coat of paint?
