VINS to Mark Bird Migration

Quechee — Vermont Institute of Natural Science will celebrate International Migratory Bird Day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with crafts, interactive games and animals visits. The activities are included with a reduced admission rate of $5, sponsored by the Kettering Family Foundation.

Live bird programs are set for 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and the Conte Watershed on Wheels traveling exhibit will be at VINS throughout the day. The crafts include nest-box painting. Nest boxes will be available for $10, but supplies are limited.
