Medicine, Hazardous Waste Collections to Be Offered

Lebanon — The Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission has announced the dates for its annual household hazardous waste and unwanted medicines collections.

The collections are free to residents of the following New Hampshire towns: Cornish, Enfield, Goshen, Hanover, Lebanon, Lempster, Lyme, New London, Newbury, Newport, Orford, Piermont, Plainfield, Springfield, Sunapee, Unity and Washington. Residents of other towns may participate for a fee. Small businesses and schools must register at least two weeks in advance.

The collections will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the following locations:

∎ Lebanon Solid Waste Facility, May 18.

∎ Newport Highway Garage, June 15.

∎ Newbury Highway Garage, Aug.17.

∎ Lebanon Solid Waste Facility, Sept. 17.
