Car Hits Oven on Interstate 89 in Randolph
Randolph — No one was injured when a vehicle traveling north on Interstate 89 collided with a Kenmore oven in Randolph on Saturday evening, according to a police press release.
The release stated that a South Burlington family was returning home from visting relatives for Thanksgiving weekend when their vehicle hit the oven, which was brand new and still in the box as it sat in the center of the left lane. The collision caused moderate front end damage to the vehicle and completely destroyed the oven.
State police are reminding motorists to properly secure bulky or oversized items to their vehicle when traveling.
