Resiliency Workshop Set for DHMC
Lebanon — The second in a series of community conversations about climate change and building climate resilient communities in the Upper Valley will be held tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in Auditorium E at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
“This forum will provide insights from local officials who have both proactively and reactively addressed flooding and have critical lessons learned to share,” Alex Jaccaci, Co-Chair of Upper Valley Adaptation Workgroup said in a recent news release.
“The Upper Valley is well positioned to adapt to our changing climate and related challenges including flooding, however it will take a combined effort to learn, share knowledge and build resiliency across our boundaries and sectors of our community.”
The series is being coordinated by the Upper Valley Adaptation Workgroup, which convened in 2012 to help Upper Valley communities prepare for the impact of climate change and to become more resilient.
