Project VetCare Elects Board Members
Hanover — Project VetCare recently elected three new members to its board of directors.
The board provides direction for the organization’s activities, which include veteran community potlucks and educational seminars in local high schools.
Wayne Dunham, an Army veteran, has been involved with Project VetCare since its inception. Dunham has helped with fundraising and taken part in the organization’s Veterans Day programs at Hanover High School, speaking with students about his experiences. He is a firefighter in Hanover.
Andy Steele, a Navy veteran, is executive director of development and alumni relations at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He has volunteered with the Upper Valley Humane Society and the Friends of Hanover/Norwich Schools, and assisted Project VetCare on numerous occasions, Project VetCare said in a recent news release.
Ron Bucca is a student in the Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies program at Dartmouth with a concentration in globalization studies. Bucca, an Army Special Forces combat veteran, won the 2013 Graduate Community Award for his exemplary leadership in contributing to the Dartmouth community.
He is involved with several nationwide veteran initiatives and has helped Project VetCare with the Hanover High Veterans Day program and other projects.
