Cover Home Repair Receives $2,500 Grant
White River Junction — Cover Home Repair has received a grant of $2,500 from People’s United Community Foundation to help fund its home repair and education programs.
The foundation supports programs that promote community development, youth development and affordable housing
Since 2006, Cover has completed more than 650 urgently needed home repairs and 480 weatherization projects.
“We are so grateful for People’s United Community Foundation and their support of Cover’s work,” Rob Schultz, executive director, said in a recent news release.
“There is strong alignment between their mission and our desire to help sustain safe, warm and dry homes for our neighbors in the Upper Valley. We hope that this will be the start of a long and mutually beneficial relationship between the Foundation, Cover and our homeowner partners.” — Staff report
