Wedding: Stokes — Benjamin
Lebanon — Charlotte Louise Stokes and Cyle-Wendell Benjamin were married on June 15, 2013.
The wedding took place at Huse Park in Enfield and was presided over by Dusty Ballou, an ordained minister and long-time friend of the bride. Amanda Spicer was maid of honor. Ryan Picknell was best man. Tristan Colonese and Zander Benjamin were ring bearers.
The ceremony was a self-described “redneck camo” wedding where the entire wedding party wore a combination of traditional wedding attire and camouflage. The wedding was also a family event that included dog tags being given to each member of the family in order to unite them as one.
The bride is the daughter of the late David Gene Stokes Sr., Beatrice Mary (Colonese) Stokes, of Orford, and Phillip Perry Sr., of Claremont. She graduated from Hartford High School in 2000 and was certified as an automotive technician from the Hartford Career and Technical Center.
The bridegroom is the son of Penny-Jeanne (Borry) Benjamin and Dwayne Richard Benjamin, of Bradford, Vt., and Gary-Wendell Goodrich, of Thetford. He attended Rivendell Academy and graduated from Riverbend Career and Technical Center with certification in heavy equipment in 2000.
The couple make their home in Lebanon. They are self-employed as owners and managers of Benjamin Handyman Services in Lebanon.
