Engagement: Whipple — McClammer
Charlestown — Laura J. Whipple and James McClammer, both of Philadelphia, have announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of William and Joy Whipple, of West Windsor, N.J. She earned a bachelor’s degree in government and art history in 2008 from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. She received a law degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 2011 and is employed as a Social Security disability associate attorney at Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano in Philadelphia.
The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Jim McClammer and Sharon Morisi, of Charlestown. He attended the Farwell and middle schools in Charlestown, graduated from Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N. H., and earned his undergraduate degree in psychology and anthropology from Boston University in 2007. He received his doctorate in law from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 2011 and is employed as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Labor in Philadelphia.
The couple plan a September wedding in Princeton, N.J.
