Engagement: Cuno — Mahon
Claire Cuno and Brian Mahon
Norwich — Sarah Stewart and James Cuno, of Norwich and Santa Monica, Calif., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Claire Cuno, to Brian Mahon.
The bride-to-be is a resident of Brooklyn, N.Y. She graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, Mass., in 1999 and earned a bachelor’s degree in American cultural studies from Bates College in 2003. She received a master’s degree in social work from Hunter College, CUNY in 2011 and she is a social worker for Global Kids, a nonprofit educational organization for global learning and youth development based in New York City.
The bridegroom-to-be also is a resident of Brooklyn. He graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn, Maine, in 1997 and earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science from Boston University in 2001. He received a master’s degree in special education from New York University in 2011 and is a third-grade teacher at Public School 111 in Manhattan.
An August wedding is planned in Norwich.
