50th Anniversary: Nancy and Lawrence Vincent
Lebanon — Nancy Ann and Lawrence Barnard Vincent, of Lebanon, celebrated their 50th anniversary on July 11, 2014, at The Quechee Club.
The celebration was hosted by their children, Todd and Tasha Vincent, and featured a three-tier cake symbolic of the couple’s home states. The top tier had maple leaves for Larry and lilacs for Nancy. The bottom tier was made up of orange blossoms, representative of the time the couple spends in Florida.
Nancy Vincent graduated from Enfield High School and was employed at Houghton Mifflin in Lebanon and Kendal at Hanover before retiring.
Lawrence Vincent graduated from Hartford High School and enlisted in the Army. He worked at the Split Ballbearing Corp., Dartmouth College and owned Highlander Laundromats in West Lebanon and White River Junction before retiring.
The couple were married on July 11, 1964, at St. Helena’s Roman Catholic Church in Enfield. They winter in Spring Hill, Fla.
