Wedding: Curtis — Johns
Wilder — Diane M. Curtis and William Michael Johns were married on June 15, 2014, in Wilder.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas Curtis, of Rochester, Vt., and the late Caroline Curtis. She is a graduate of Rochester High School and Rutland Business College. She is employed as a bookkeeper at Simpson Cos. in White River Junction.
The bridegroom is the son of the late Eugene Johns and the late June Johns. He graduated from Watertown High School in Watertown, Conn., and earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of New Haven in New Haven, Conn. He is employed as a manger at Jake’s Market and Deli in Hartford.
The wedding ceremony took place at the couple’s home in Wilder. Kevin Christy, a justice of the peace, officiated at the ceremony. The bride’s brother, Ronald Curtis, escorted her down the aisle. The bride’s sister, Susanne Masson, was matron of honor. Cheryl Gilman-Godfrey was the bridesmaid. Dennis Forgue served as best man and Aaron Johns, the groom’s son, was the groomsman. The “honorary ring bearer” was Dylan Johns, the groom’s 5-week-old grandson.
The couple honeymooned in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. They make their home in Wilder.
