Good Beginnings of Sullivan County Appoints New Clinical Supervisor
Claremont — Melony Williams, a licensed clinical mental health counselor, has been named clinical supervisor of Good Beginnings of Sullivan County’s home visiting program.
Williams has been with the agency for eight years as a parent educator and mental health counselor.
In her new role, she will direct the agency’s staff of professional parent educators, who work to help local families strengthen parental attachment and develop effective parenting skills.
A clinician for more than 11 years, Williams has cared for children and families in a variety of environments, including residential treatment, outpatient and home settings.
She holds a master’s degree in transpersonal counseling psychology and art therapy from Naropa University in Boulder, Colo.
