Local Motion Bike Rental

Right on the Burlington Bike Path (part of the Island Line Trail), Local Motion’s Trailside Center rents hybrid and comfort bicycles, tandems, kids’ bikes, trailers and tag-alongs. One-hour adult rental from $18.

Island Line Trail

Runs from Oakledge Park in Burlington through Colchester to Allen Point Access Area in South Hero. Bill and Carole Hauke bike ferry (; 802-861-2700) runs Friday-Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in summer; reduced hours in fall. Day pass $8; kids $5.
