Post 22 Wins Fourth Straight Game
Lebanon — Joe Cravero was a force on the mound and at the plate as Lebanon Post 22 defeated Laconia Post 1 5-2 in American Legion baseball action Tuesday night for its fourth straight win.
The Holy Cross-bound Cravero fired a nine-inning five-hitter with six strikeouts and two walks. Both runs he allowed were unearned. At bat, Cravero was 3-for-3with two walks, two runs scored and two RBIs. Teammate Cyrus Rothwell-Ferraris scored three runs, walked twice and stole a base. Liam Gantrish had a pinch-hit RBI double in the eighth inning, and Cam Blewitt had a hit and was hit by a pitch twice. Post 22’s defense made only one error.
Lebanon (4-6) visits Concord on Thursday night.
Lebanon Jrs. 5, Bristol 0
Bristol, n.h. — Ben Robinson threw seven shutout innings as Lebanon Post 22 (6-2) handled Bristol.
Robinson struck out 12 and allowed two hits. He walked two. At the plate he walked twice and scored twice. Teammates Levi Bryd and Tom Jenkins delivered RBI hits, and Joe Flanagan doubled.
Lebanon hosts New London on Thursday.

Norwich — Matthew Reeves scored on a penalty kick and Mack Walton also tallied to give the visitors a 2-1 halftime lead at Huntley Meadows. Touchline’s goal before the break came from Jamie Dinulos on a Yedne Atkins assist. Tanner Aberle’s tally for Springfield made it 3-1 before Dinulos converted a penalty kick to close the scoring.
Springfield visits Lebanon Central Supply in a Division IV game Sunday at the Plainfield School. Touchline V visits Lebanon Mak’s V in a Division V game tonight at the same location.
A collection at the latter match will benefit a fund established to help Lebanon residents whose living spaces were affected by last week’s rainstorm runoff and flooding.
