D-H CFO Cited by Industry Publication
Lebanon — Dartmouth-Hitchcock Chief Financial Officer Robin Kilfeather-Mackey has been named one of 125 “hospital and health system CFOs to know” by the health care industry publication Becker’s Hospital Review.
According to Becker’s, those chosen for the annual list help lead health care organizations in financial matters while balancing patient care and health care reform strategies. The Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team used several resources to develop this list, including nominations, prior Becker’s Hospital Review lists and information from industry experts.
Kilfeather-Mackey has worked for D-H in a variety of financial roles during the past 18 years, most recently as the vice president of corporate finance.
Prior to working at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Kilfeather-Mackey worked for other New Hampshire and Vermont health care organizations, performing similar financial management functions, after working in the public accounting industry. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Bentley University, an MBA from the University of New Hampshire College System, and is a 2009 graduate of the Leadership New Hampshire Program and is a certified public accountant licensed in New Hampshire. Kilfeather-Mackey is also a recent graduate of the 2013 inaugural master’s degree program in health care delivery science at Dartmouth College from the Geisel School of Medicine and Tuck School.
Claremont Resident Named Mt. Ascutney Employee of the Month
Windsor — Sharon Herschel, of Claremont, was recently named Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center employee of the month for June.
Herschel, a 15-year employee of the hospital, has held several different roles there. She is functional independence measures coordinator in the Rehabilitation Unit, providing oversight of FIM processes, including data collection and data entry. She also serves as support staff to case management and the referral coordinator, working with doctors and nurses to determine patients’ length of stay and rehabilitation needs.
“Sharon is continuously recognized for her positive attitude and willingness to help,” CEO of Mt. Ascutney Hospital, Kevin W. Donovan said in a recent news release. “She was selected as June Employee of the Month for her initiative and team approach that not only benefits the hospital but the entire community.” — Staff reports
