Newport — Guenter and Kathleen Hubert, of Newport, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Alissa Ann Hubert, to Michael David Gallo.
The bride-to-be is a resident of Springfield, Mass. She graduated from Saint Anselm College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and is pursuing a master’s degree in education in clinical health counseling from Springfield College.
The bridegroom-to-be is a resident of Lebanon. The son of Laura Carroll and David Gallo, he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nichols College and is employed as an assistant manager with Sherwin Williams in Montpelier.
A September wedding is planned.
