Nierenberg - Weller
Andrew Weller and Kristin Nierenberg
Lebanon — Kristin Joan Nierenberg and Andrew Phillip Weller were married on Sept. 8, 2012.
The wedding took place at Sugarbush Resort in Vermont and was presided over by attorney Sarah Affel. The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was Abigail Keenan. The maid of honor was Lauren Thomas. Bridesmaids were Kara Nierenberg, the bride’s sister-in-law, Laena Orkin, Daphne Morrison and Kimberly Whippy.
Anthony Bracalente was the best man. Groomsmen were Blake Malin and David R. Nierenberg, the bride’s brother.
The double ring ceremony was performed with the couple exchanging the same rings that were used by the bridegroom’s late maternal grandparents, Ruth and Carl Wagner, at their wedding in 1936. The brother of the bride and all four parents of the bride and bridegroom participated with readings during the ceremony.
A reception followed at Sugarbush Resort.
The bride is the daughter of Joan and David W. Nierenberg, of Lebanon. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 2001 and received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University in 2005. She earned a medical degree from Harvard University in 2011 and is a resident in family practice at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Wash.
The bridegroom is the son of Joan and Peter Weller, of Gladstone, N.J. He graduated from Bernards High School in Bernardsville, N.J., in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy in 2007. He served as a lieutenant on a nuclear submarine until August 2012 and is employed as a manufacturing engineer at Honeywell in Seattle.
The couple make their home in Seattle.
