Angela Peters and Bradford Shirley
Hanover — Angela Esther Peters and Bradford Eric Shirley were married on Sept. 1, 2012.
The wedding took place in Madison, Wis., where a traditional Marine Corps sword arch ceremony was performed under the supervision of Deacon Art Schaller. The bride was escorted by her father. Emily Frank was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Hess, Allison Shirley and Emily Morrison. Benjamin Shirley was the best man. Groomsmen were William Wathen, Colin Damour and Ian Peters. Ushers were Frank DeSimone and Steven Bang.
A reception was held at Overture Center for the Arts.
The bride is the daughter of Lucy and Brian Peters, of Stevens Point, Wis. She graduated from Pacelli High School in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree in French and legal studies at the University of Wisconsin in 2008. She is a captain in the Marine Corps. stationed in Twentynine Palms, Calif.
The bridegrom is the son of Susan and Eric Shirley, of Hanover. He graduated from St. Paul’s School in Concord in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., in 2007. He is a captain and company commander in the Marine Corps. stationed in Twentynine Palms.
The couple plan to honeymoon in Montana and Idaho. They make their home in Twentynine Palms.
