Linda L. Brown
Grafton, N.H. — Linda L. Brown, 63 years old, passed away in her home with family by her side in Grafton on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013.
She was born on Aug. 20, 1949, in Swanton, Vt., a daughter of the late Elwin and Elizabeth Young.
She worked for many years on the carnival shows and in factories like Freudenburg in Bristol, N.H. She volunteered her time for the Rec field in Grafton. She always worked hard for her family and what she wanted.
Linda loved to crochet Afghans, do crossword puzzles, play cards (hand and foot) with the ladies in Grafton, talk on the phone to family and friends and loved to take care of her two grandchildren and her great-grandchild.
She is survived by four sisters and two brothers, Joyce Raine (Raymond) of Swanton, Elizabeth Noel (Roland) of Swanton, John Young of Swanton, Norma Syminton of Swanton, Pauline Blodgette of Danamore, N.Y., and Elwin Young of Webster, N.H.; as well as her two children, Arthur Brown of Grafton, and Lynn Brown of Grafton; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown of Grafton, and Nicholas Brown of Grafton; and a great-grandchild, Riley Jacob Brown of Grafton. She also leaves behind her best friend and partner in crime, Gyle Ibey of Grafton.
No services and no funeral, she wanted everyone to come and see her before she left this earth.
Many thanks to John, Janet, Wayne and everyone who has helped us and loved our mom.
